Independence Day

Ayat joined us, via skype, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Independence of Bahrain on Monday. She addressed a large congregation of pro-democracy supporters in London and urged us to keep supporting the detainees, just how we, the international community, helped her to be released - we can help the many others. She told us to persist on our struggle for justice, to keep campaigning for freedom and to put pressure on international media to raise awareness of many the human right abuses and violations taking place in Bahrain.
